Leo was renamed after he really responded to "Ned". He was looking for his family in an industrial part of town before he was brought to the shelter by a Good Samaritan. This 35lb happy-go-lucky and very affectionate guy is unflappable with other dogs and chickens but a little too interested in the kitties. He has some skin issues (lick granulomas) which should clear up with the proper diet and mental stimulation. We learned that his two bad teeth were extracted by the shelter vet so he'll just need deep cleaning on his choppers. Due to his age (8-9 years old), a blood panel will be needed prior to surgery so we're estimating his dentistry will run about closer to $400. Any help to defray these costs would be greatly appreciated!
