Meet Nathan, a senior that was found as a stray. Based on his condition, it is likely that he was surviving the outdoors for quite a while. After receiving medical care and lots of TLC, he is ready to find his forever home. This sweet gentleman is thought to be approximately 10 years old. He’s a small statured mixed breed dog with white and apricot tones in his fur. He is a happy guy that loves pets and snuggles, treats, plush and rope toys, soft cushy beds and gives great kisses. This distinguished fellow has got quite the pep in his step and enjoys playtime. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, though prefers not to share a human lap. He is crate trained and does well going potty outside. We are working on marking behaviors though he is completely amenable to wearing belly bands in the house. His fur is in the process of growing back resulting from poor nutrition and lack of grooming while he was on his own. He wears shirts in cool environments and when exposed to the sun. He is doing well with his harness and leash. With his history of a nomadic lifestyle, a fenced yard is preferred.
