Labs just don't come much cuter and more endearing than Nash, a compact little 58 pound Lab with big soft brown eyes. About four years old, he's full of a young Lab's zest for life, but with structure and leadership is a wonderfully content little guy. He's a sensitive boy who's very eager to please and thrives on daily exercise.
Nash is housetrained and knows how to sit and to wait politely for his food. His foster mom relates he's a happy greeter and one who does well on a Halti for walks. At a session with our trainer he was a very attentive and responsive student who almost melted with delight and smiling grateful looks when praised and rubbed on his neck and shoulders. Working on a loose leash walk, he almost pranced as he walked along and checked in often with whoever was at the other end of the leash.
Nash loves to romp at the neighborhood lake and chase balls with all the local denizens both human and canine. He and his foster siblings get along nicely in the home. Nash is very food motivated when learning new things and enjoys a peanut butter filled Kong not only for a treat, but for the challenge. "He's a thinker, with some mischief in there!" says his foster mom. "He's desperate for love and cuddles, but so sweet and keen to please."
