You can save animals like Napoleon by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please click here and email the questionnaire to [email protected].Hi Everyone,
This is Napoleon!
This little guy needs a home! I personally took him out of a high-kill shelter and he is doing wonderfully in my home! The most accurate word that I can use to describe him, is: thoughtful. He has the most magnificent eyes that just look at you, with seemingly complete understanding, and melt your heart. So far, he is low to medium energy, curious, follows me like a shadow, and is a real snuggler. He appears to be crate trained and housebroken. Napoleon's name is no coincidence. If given the chance, he likes to be in charge...so he needs to go to a home where his humans know how to be the boss. He thrives when he knows his position in his family, but will try to dominate small children and weak adults...so I'd like to place him in a home with no small children. He's been known to be mouthy around kids. He's not aggressive, but will do best with someone who understands the terrier breed. He does well with other dogs, and is curious around cats (but does very well with them). The vet says that he's completely healthy, and he is now up to date on his shots. He's probably around 20 pounds, but he's a stout little guy. Sort of like a big dog, in a little dog body! Please give this little guy a great home, which he deserves!
