ABOUT: NAME - Nani GENDER - Female BREED - Staffy AGE - 3ish EXPECTED SIZE - Medium ENERGY LEVEL - Low/Medium GOOD WITH: STRANGERS - Shy when meeting new people. Not aggressive just a bit timid. KIDS - Okay with kids, Id recommend older kids who know how to properly interact with dogs. DOGS - Yes, non dominant dogs. CATS - Unknown ANIMALS - Unknown TRAINING: HOUSE - Unknown CRATE - Unknown LEASH - Walks very well in calm environments. Is hesitant in high traffic/stress situations. BASIC OBEDIENCE - Some CAR RIDES - Rides okay FUN FACTS: - Nani was thrown out at the rescue in the middle of the night emaciated and covered in ticks. - She was absolutely petrified however within the first 24hours her amazing personality started to shine through. We realized shes the sweetest girl who just adores belly rubs. - She was nervous at the vet but was still so sweet and loving. She kept giving me all the kisses. She decided to climb up and sit with me which was perfectly fine and helped her confidence some. - She had not 1 but 2 strange large dogs run up to her and invade her personal space quite rambunctiously. She never made one wrong move. When Nani thought nobody was looking those ears would perk up and she would watch her new friends. It was absolutely adorable. - She is unfortunately Heartworm positive and is going through the slow kill method using ProHeart12 and Doxycycline.
