Hello, everyone! My name is Nana Nettie, and I’m the newest Streetdog! My story is a bit different than the typical Streetdog because I actually haven’t been on the street. I was adopted from the shelter about 4 years ago and have been living with a family with kids and other dogs ever since; however, it seems that their financial situation changed and they have not been able to properly care for me for some time.
I am currently around 9 years old and the doctors say that I have mange and some mammary tumors that will need to be addressed. I did super well on my dog testing and have loved every human that I’ve met, including adults and kiddos! I have already been spayed and tested negative to heartworms, so I am ready to be moved into a foster or adoptive home ASAP. I’m an old, gentle soul and they tell me that my new name is after the grandmother of one of the volunteers that came to get me.
