Mystique, or "Misty" for short, is a beautiful Chicago girl that we met on a trip down to Chicago Animal Care and Control. Misty was reported to be an easy loose-leash walker and have great manners. She is also super friendly with dogs and people. When we took her out, we saw what all the fuss was about! That day, our shelter manager took her home from CACC, so she spent the day and night in a home with a toddler, who she loved! Misty did not have a single accident and her current foster also reports that she is housebroken. Misty scored a longer term foster the next day, where she has been settling in well. She is housebroken, does well with free roam (so far has been left up to 3 hours), and while she does not live with a dog she has tons of playdates with dogs. Her foster writes, "Misty is a ball of energy when with other dogs, but when home alone she is happy to just veg out on the couch. She is a great mother to her stuffed toys and carries them around when not snuggling them. Misty likes long walks in the morning and can walk 2-7 miles on the leash everyday. She has had many play dates with other dogs. She is learning to sit and stay, but has not got the hang of it just yet. When the dogs around her are tired she is content with chewing on a bone or hard toy." Misty is truly a gem, so please inquire about her today! Mystique's adoption fee is $250.
