Mushroom

Meet Mushroom, a super cute 6 month old neutered male dachshund mix, weighing about 16 lbs! He likely won't get much bigger. . Unlike their other siblings, Mushroom and Reishi both have long legs and look like they could be mixed with Italian Greyhound. Mushroom and his siblings were rescued from a hoarding case in TN. He is a timid boy who is easily startled, and he is working on building his confidence. He is shy at first, but he warms up to be a sweet, loving dog once he knows you are safe. Mushroom would do best in a quiet, calm home. Due to his timid nature, we recommend older kids 8+ who know to respect a dog's space, or no kids. Mushroom is fine with most dogs, but he prefers lower energy dogs. He does resource guard food/treats from other dogs (never people), so he will need to be fed and given high value treats separately from other dogs (we recommend this with ALL dogs regardless). He is good with dog savvy cats. Mushroom is medically up to date, mostly housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this sweet boy today!
