Murray

Single, mature, gentleman looking for long-term relationship. Enjoys outdoors, walks, snuggling, quiet evenings home watching television, sunbathing. Looking for someone with whom I can continue the fitness program I began earlier this year. I do love to eat. If you like to cook, that would be a plus. Some gray but I have nice, thick hair. Let me introduce Murray. He is a FABULOUS beagle, looking for a nice home for retirement. He came to BREW when his former adoptive home could no longer care for him. Murray does miss his old mom, but he understands that she took really good care of him for as long as she could and he is thankful for her. Now he is ready for his forever home where he can enjoy your company and have his belly rubbed. Even with the recent changes in his life, Murray has rolled with the punches. He is very laid-back. Murray rarely barks, unless the dog next door is at the fence whining for him to come play! Murray has spent time with children and likes them. He is very careful around the 8-month-old baby in his foster home. He likes other dogs but he does not need a home with another dog. Murray has lived with cats and now lives with a guinea pig, all without incident. He knows basic commands and listens very well. He is completely housetrained and even has run of the house in his foster home. This is extraordinary, because even the two resident beagles in his foster home do not get run-of-the-house. AND Murray does not beg! He is the first beagle we’ve known to chew his food, too. He really enjoys it and takes his time eating: a true connoisseur of fine cuisine. As an older adult, it will be important that Murray’s next home keeps him moving with regular exercise. He loves going for walks and has plenty of energy and enthusiasm for sniffing along the way.
