MEET MURPHY - located in ORANGE CITY, FL - Volusia County, FL (4 hrs. north of Broward) This handsome fella WAS DUMPED in a wooded area in NW Volusia County in Florida - He is about 6 months old and only weighs about 47 lbs. (His weight should be about 50 lbs.) He had been seen wandering on the land for a couple weeks before he approached the human. He was taken to a vet and was is in great shape - He has been thoroughly vetted now, put on flea/tick & heartworm prevention and has JUST been neutered and chipped so he is READY for his new forever home! He is in a foster home and is adjusting well to people, walks well on a leash and loves his TOYS! He is housebroken, hardly ever barks - and loves to play! At this time, we are NOT recommending a home with small children because when he is playing, he likes to 'play bite' your hand. Doesn't bite, doesn't break skin but for a small person, it could be scary He is still a little 'reactive' when he meets other dogs but since he is so young - care and training should resolve this. There is rarely anything left over, but if that happens, the monies get applied to the next or previous pet - who may have had to have an x-ray, be groomed or have a dental.
