MURPHY

Murphy came to the shelter from Magoffin County after his owner was taken to jail and he was found in the car. After almost a month, no one has came to reclaim Murphy and he is now available for adoption. Murphy is a purebred male ShihTzu who is estimated at around 4 years of age. Murphy is black and white in color and though a little ratty when he came to the shelter, he is still a very cute guy. Other than Murphy's long coat that will require frequent brushings and grooming, he is a low maintenance boy. A little hug, potty break and food, and Murphy is good to go. He is very sweet and though he would be fine with small children temperament wise, he will not be placed in a home with small kids due to his small size. He weighs less than 10 lbs and half of that is hair! Murphy has suffered loss of vision in one eye from we suspect to be a physical injury of some sort but you would never know it as he gets around very well. To those at the shelter, it just makes him more endearing! Murphy will be neutered prior to leaving the shelter and his adoption fee is $75 to cover the cost of his neuter, vaccinations, deworming and rabies.
