Murphy: Breed- Australian Shephard/Black Lab mix
(can provide DNA link to her DNA if wanted) Age- 7 months Spayed, paperwork will be provided. Vaccines are all done, and the paperwork is provided as well. Chipped(can switch information to new owner once homed)
She loves the German Shephard we adopted the same day as her, so she may possibly be ok with other dogs eventually after some good training to not be reactive/protective on walks, but she needs all the focus on her right now.
Good with kids(may want to have *** older kids****since she jumps and gets easily excited)
NO CATS Housebroken and crate trained.
Needs space to run and get her energy out.
No front porch/balconies that she can access.
She can jump high and I fear she will jump off a balcony or front gate(she playfully ran after the neighbor and dog to play).
Bag of food provided and favorite toys. No beds for now as she loves to eat them and plush toys.
Murphy loves to try to eat rocks and other inedible things like she's starving. When she starts walking around the house and sniffing hard, she needs to go potty. She loves cuddles and her little paws and hips massaged. She has a sensitive stomach with treats like beef pizzle chews(she doesn't eat them slow she takes chunks and swallows them).
On a flea medication chew tab, we have to gently put it in the back of her mouth, close and blow in her nose to swallow or she is clever and will put it in the side of her cheek and spit it out. If for any reason it doesn't work out, we do not want her going to a shelter, if we have to take her back we will, she can never be in a shelter again.
We would like some updates/pictures for a few months, this is very hard for us both to decide and I have been crying while writing this whole thing and going through pictures and videos. I just need to know she will be taken care of and loved. She had a rough start in the shelter and she can't handle going back to the shelter or back and forth between homes.
Birthdate: 12/19/23 Weight as of 6/3/24: 34lbs Due to her DNA being mostly Australian Shephard, we don't think she will be getting much bigger.
