My Story

His owner is moving and can not take him with them. They are very heart broken that he can not move and want to find him a wonderful home. He was rescued at the age of 7 month from being put to sleep.

Munch is three now, and just about grown up. He is some sort of Great Dane/German Shorthaired Pointer/indeterminate hound cross. He weighs well over 100lb., is beautiful and distinctive, and has lots of energy. He is very bright and learns quickly.
After brief visit with Munch we realized what a wonderful dog he is. He is very well mannered, knows many commands, even with his size he is very well a gentleman in the house. He greated us with a wag of his tail and we became his friends as soon as we walked in the door. He gets along with his house mates which are under 20lbs
Munch is a cuddler, and quite the ladies' man. Stuffed animals with squeakers are his joy and passion; he lives to demolish them. He has relatively little experience with kids, and just by virtue of his size might not be the best choice for a family with tiny ones. He's a great companion for someone who likes to run or hike. He likes to play fetch, tug-o-war, and keep-away. He is strong and strong-minded, so needs a consistent but loving hand. His body is pretty much full grown, but his mind is still maturing.
