Muffin & Harriet came to OFOSA together, as strays from the Central California area. Since they were strays, nothing is known about their background. Muffin is about 15 pounds and around 2 years old and wants to join an active family. They are not technically a bonded pair (not raised together or related ), but they are VERY good friends. I think they would love to be placed together, but it is not a requirement. Both of them are starved for affection. Although they are quite polite when eating around other dogs, which is unusual, it's best not to leave your food where they can reach it. Their tails are wagging constantly. They are quite friendly with other dogs, especially new ones. I am a pet sitter, so someone new shows up almost every day. They both LOVE to chew up anything they can find, so dog-proofing your place is essential and lots of chew toys. They need some training to be the best family additions. She does need some serious training in walking on a leash. she gets too excited to calm down enough to enjoy a walk but with training she will be fine. Muffin is crate-trained, and will go into one willingly. She is potty-trained; no accidents in the house at all. She is not a big barker. She should be fine in an apartment. A coupler or double leash could be useful for someone adopting them both. Both of these girls are sweet and would love to find their forever home, together or separately. To meet them please go to OFOSA.ORG and fill out the application and the foster mom will be in-touch. By the way my adoption fee is $320 but I am all up to date, chipped and spayed.
