Click here to fill out our online adoption application. *****ADOPTED**** Mr. Wrigley looks like a cross between a Brussels griffon and a Shih Tzu. He is guesstimated to be between 1.5 to 2 years old. He weighs 16-17 pounds and is the best snuggler this side of the Milky Way! Wrigley needs a new best friend that lives in a stable, quiet home, as he can be easily overwhelmed in loud, hectic situations. He doesn’t do well meeting men...and becomes demanding for attention and could playfully push over any little family members, so homes without young children would be best. He wants a family that will treat him like a little baby that gets to sleep in your lap when on the couch and beside u in the bed at night. He doesn’t like to share attention with other humans or dogs...and is very protective of his foster mom and lets her know when anyone pulls in the driveway! Wrigley is neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative and on prevention, housetrained, and walks quite well on a leash. If you can provide this great little guy with a calm, loving, quiet home, he will become your most devoted companion!



Note: All applications are processed in the order received, but an adoption is made to the best application received for each of our animals. All applicants must provide a vet reference on the adoption application. If you are adopting a dog from ARFA, a fenced in yard for the dog will be required. Home visits often occur on each adoption. ARFA has the right to deny adoption to any applicant for any reason without explanation. Please remember that the adoption fee is not for purchase of a dog, but rather to cover the medical cost of all dogs in our care.
