Mr. Peanut is a 12 y.ear old chihuahua mix who enjoyed a lifetime of happiness until his human passed away. Now this Golden Bachelor is looking for a second chance at a loving home. Mr. Peanut's purpose in life is to be a constant companion and love bug. He is friendly, social and has never met a stranger. This charming little boy is potty trained, LOVES car rides and playing with toys. Mr. Peanut has been diagnosed with possible oral cancer but really doesn't seem to care about that. He's such a happy hungry-hungry hippo weighing in at 15#. His 'special needs' will include monitoring for potential signs of discomfort or pain and administering the occasional pain relief medication. Otherwise, he eats a mix of dry and wet kibble to soften his food. The vet specialist reported good news - his cancer is not malignant and is not metastasizing. Over time, it may grow larger so monitoring the need to convert to an all wet food diet will be a consideration.
