My Story

Mr Gibbs will be at Open House on SATURDAY, July 27, 10 am- noon, and on MONDAY, July 29, 3-5 pm. Open House is at 106 Adams St, Medfield, MA. To attend open house, please submit and on-line adoption application, and make an appointment with your adoption coordinator. Approved applicants can also make an appointment to meet Mr. Gibbs at other times- no need to wait until Open House! Adoption applications can be found at www.foreverhomerescue.org/about Mr. Gibbs (FKA Titan) is a 7 year old hound mix. He weighs about 65 pounds. Mr Gibbs is a medium energy dog who would love a fenced in yard. He loves to be with people, and likes nothing more than being by your side. Mr Gibbs is a chatty fellow. He has about 12 different voices, including a wonderful musical 'woo woo' when he sees you coming home. He gets along fine with other dogs. Mr Gibbs has been living with 6 other dogs in his foster home and has attended doggie daycare in the past. He greets all neighborhood dogs with a wagging tail. He is crate trained and housebroken. Mr. Gibbs gets his exercise by running and playing in a fenced backyard, where he loves to chase any bunnies that try to share his space. He does not go on leashed walks. Mr Gibbs does OK in the car- he will lie down when on the highway. He does not like fireworks or similar loud noises but is not bothered by most thunderstorms. He has not been around cats. He is living with an 8 year old child and loves her. We would love to find him a home with people who are home a lot, as he just loves to hang out with his peeps. Do not be fooled by the grey on his muzzle. He is still an active dog who loves to be outside, play with other dogs, and hang with his people Adoption fee is $250. Adoption Coordinator-Vera Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt by visiting our web page at www.foreverhomerescue.org or by clicking on our shelter name on this page above. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors. If you are approved to adopt, you will be asked to submit a $100 deposit using the Donate button our web page at www.foreverhomerescue.org or the shelter information page using the link above.
