Mr. Bean’s an 8yo 18lb JRT mix. He’s dog friendly. He is house and crate trained. He’s good in a secure fenced yard and/or going for walks which he loves. Loves toys but not good to have them if other dogs are around since he’s protective of his things. He needs time to warm up to new people and is not a cuddler but will lay next to you once he has warmed up.
Mr. Bean MUST have a home without kids, if another dog is in the home only 1 other, someone to take him on walks 4 times a day along with being on board to show leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. Peter Wolf of Your Happy Dog who volunteers his time with Tiny Paws will be at the meet which includes all humans and animals in the house to help with the transition. If your home DOES NOT fit this please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone not a fit. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.
Mr. Bean has a heart murmur and is on Pimobendan that he needs given twice a day. He’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently fostered in Phila, PA. If your home fits the bio and MUST haves and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org
