Mossy is approximately 8 years old in these pictures taken in May 2009. She came back to LP after her owner could no longer keep her. Mossy has quickly become a shelter favorite as she is so loving and friendly. She does great on the leash. While she gets along with all the dogs she has been known to kill cats. Mossy so enjoys running the yard.
This sweet girl is used to being in a home and was housebroken and is very well behaved. When her owner got divorced and had to move in with family, Mossy was kept outside on a chain. She was on one for about 2 years.
Mossy went to the vet on August 7 for her Rabies, a fecal, and a Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia test. She was positive for Ehrlichia and has been treated. Mossy is on HW preventative. She weighed 76.2 pounds.
