Mordu had a bit of a rough start. His previous owner said they kept him in a kennel in the garage almost 24/7 before surrendering him due to him being "untrainable," and we've found him to be anything but. He's not exceptionally food-motivated, but he has been easy to train the basics nonetheless. He also had a horrible case of Happy Tail, and after trying first to treat it non-surgically, it was decided that it would be best for him to dock it. It made an almost immediate improvement in his quality of life!
He's 2 years old, a love bug, and is learning how to be a dog! He does well with other dogs once they've been properly introduced (he currently lives with several other dogs in his foster home) but does best with neutral dogs. He wasn't well-socialized when we got him, so we've been focusing on getting socialization now that he's been neutered.
He's currently available for a foster-to-adopt home, and you can find an application here: www.alaskaunderdogsrescue.org/foster-adopt-app
