Moose

*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Moose! Moose is a 10-year-old female French Bulldog that needs a loving new home for her golden years. Her family is moving across the country and is unable to take her with them. Moose is a sweet girl who is great with kids and cats! Lounging and snuggling are her favorite activites. Moose is spayed and has a microchip that can be transferred. As you can see in her photos, she only has her right eye. Her left eye was injured when she was 2 years old while playing at the beach, and what started as an ulcer took a turn for the worse after weeks of treatment. Surgical removal was the only option. Moose is in good health, and her family has her medical records to share with adopters. Moose is friendly towards visitors to her family's home and is well-behaved when left home alone. She is crate and house-trained. Moose does not guard or become aggressive about her food or toys. Moose's family notes that she has been reactive to other dogs since the loss of her right eye, likely because she feels vulnerable. Her family believes this behavior could be overcome with proper introductions to other dogs, patience, and training.
