My Story

Name: Moonee Age: 1 year old (estimated) Sex: Spayed Female Weight: 30 lbs Energy Level: Low Photos and videos: [https://photos.app.goo.gl/9Swocsy5u3Wz2vkJ8] Rescue Story: Moonee was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Hongsung, South Korea. She is currently being fostered in South Korea and is ready to find her forever home. She will come to the US once she finds a suitable family. The approved applicant will have a two-week trial period to ensure the match and commitment. Personality and Socialization: With Adults: Very good with both female and male adults. With Children: Shows interest in people but less so in children. With Large Dogs: Interested and greets them but quickly loses interest. With Small Dogs: Reacts similarly to how she does with large dogs. Home Life and Behavior: Alone Time: Can be left alone for 0-7 hours without any signs of separation anxiety or destructive behavior. Noise Sensitivity: Loves people but is sensitive to sounds and may get scared, often looking around nervously and attempting to flee when startled. Vocalization: Rarely barks. House Training: Fully house-trained. Exercise and Play: Walks: She requires two walks daily, each about 30 minutes long. She does not enjoy long walks but likes sitting on benches during them to observe her surroundings. Play: Enjoys toys made of fabric but is scared of balls and not very skilled at playing. She shows a lot of affection and loves being loved. Leash Skills: She still pulls on the leash, so her owner needs to be strong enough to handle her during walks. Additional Traits: Shedding: Sheds a lot seasonally. Typical Jindo traits. Interactions: When she meets a friend she likes, she lies close to the ground and wants to play. Ideal Home: Moonee would thrive in a calm, loving home that can provide her with the security and affection she craves. She needs an owner who can handle her on walks and help her feel safe when she gets scared by noises. A family that enjoys short walks and quiet time together would be perfect for her.
