Monty

We can never understand humans who surrender their pet to animal shelters. Since NC is one of the top states in the US leading in euthanasia, these pets often do not make it out alive. We fell in love with Monty the minute we met this handsome, blue-eyed charmer. Monty had technically already been held in the shelter longer than he should have as the shelter was completely out of space. But, being the debonair fellow that he is, this fluffy fellow quickly became a staff favorite. Monty, a two-year-old husky mix, is now enjoying the sunshine, beautiful play pastures and canine companionship at Godbey Creek. He is absolutely great with every dog he meets, is super, super affectionate & happy and ALWAYS wears a smile on his face - - no doubt his smile and loving nature saved his life. The great guy is improving every single day on leash and will be walking like a professional soon. He also keeps his kennel very clean which is a good indicator that he should be easy to house train. We absolutely require a fenced in yard for Monty. Monty comes with a full medical package; e.g. neuter, deworm, tested heartworm negative, Bordetella, rabies, parvo/distemper, microchip and is on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
