Look who’s just arrived! She’s two-and-a-half year old Molly who is as cute and feminine as can be. This sweet little Lab weighs a perfect 58 pounds. She rode quietly and hopefully on her long journey for a new start in life. While she was getting settled in with her foster mom, she took time out to share her story:
“I’m so happy to have found my ‘safe harbor’ and know there are caring people in the world. Before a Good Samaritan helped me, I lived in not such a nice place, chained up to a dog house during the day and at night I was locked up in a crate. The men in my life were scary to me.
“I’m only 2 ½ years old, but I’ve already been a mom twice – last time I brought 13 puppies into the world; the time before that, 8 little ones. I don’t know what became of them, but heard they had a hard time finding homes. I’ve had to grow up pretty fast so I haven’t had much time for all the fun things I hear most Labbies get to do like take walks, run and play, swim, play with toys and go to school to become a proper young lady. I’ve heard some even get to sit on the couch! I love the soft bed my foster mom has for me and how she always has a smile ready. Boy, oh boy, am I ever eager to start my new life with you! You’ll truly have the most grateful little girl in the world right by your side.”
