Molly

*****COURTSEY POST******Molly is a healthy, happy, beautiful and sweet 8-year-old Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab mix who would like to be the center of your universe. She’s a fantastic girl who loves to go for meandering strolls, play ball, and swim. She’s fine being left alone in the house and is also crate trained if you’d like to have her stay in a crate at night or when you’re away from home although it’s really not necessary. Ideally Molly wants to be an “only child”. Having lived as an only dog for 8 years we think she’d be happiest if she could continue to do so although Molly gets along fine with cats, she’s not exactly a fan of most other dogs. She won’t go out of her way to start something with another dog, but if she is crowded by one she’s willing to let them know she doesn’t like it. Reality is when you have a girl as fabulous and loving as Molly is she’s more than enough dog all on her own! Molly needs a family that will continue to work with her on being respectful where food is involved; thus, we’re suggesting a family with no small children (sometimes a small child wandering around with a tasty snack bite in hand is just TOO much to resist!). Our hope for Molly is to find a home where she can be an only dog with no children under the age of 10 with an experienced dog owner who wants an adult dog who will love them more than they could ever imagine being loved and who will love and care for this beautiful girl in return. Molly is currently living with in a foster home where she’s been working on socializing with other dogs and general good dog behavior but she would really love to find a forever home soon.
