Molly

Molly’s first owner wanted to breed her, but wasn’t able to care for her properly. She had been given to another family to keep for a while and they decided to spay her. The original owner no longer wanted her back because she was spayed. Molly was one year old in May. She is a small Shi Tzu (apparently purebred) with a very mellow, cuddly temperament. She loves small children and will play or snuggle with them. She loves other dogs and cats! She knows how to sit, shake a paw, and lay down. She is totally housebroken, and doesn’t mind being left at home alone. She loves: boating (on a rubber dinghy) , swimming, running with the quads, playing outside, going for walks, and most of all playing with BALLS. Molly tips her head from side to side when you talk to her, and she is totally adorable! She needs some work on the “come” command and will at times not pay attention when playing in the yard. Therefore a totally fenced yard is a must with this dog! If you clap your hands loudly and get her attention she then usually comes running! (She’s still a puppy!) She needs to work on her confidence though; she gets nervous around people wearing sweaters with hoods or hats, and will run and hide occasionally (possibly something from her past?) It seems teenage boys upset her the most. She has no aggression what-so-ever towards anyone, just the run and hide instinct! If you are looking for a small, non-shedding cuddle bug, then she’s your girl! She has all shots, including rabies, and is spayed.
