My Story

Missy is a Great Pyrenees and Anatolian mix. Missy is about 18 mos old and weighs right under 100lbs and appears to be at her perfect weight.

Missy has a Tomboy personality and she LOVES to play! She chases the boys and romps and tackles. She also loves to get her belly rubbed and to snuggle. She gives the wettest kisses ever!

Missy also LOVES WATER! She will "steal it" whenever she gets the chance, wether it be playing in her water bucket, when we are watering the plants or when she decides to join the kids in their kiddie pool, she loves being wet.

In the 15weeks we've had her, Missy has not shown any signs of excessive barking. She will bark at a strange sound, especially voices, but quiets when we tell her to, or in play an occasional bark escapes her. Missy does dig and chew a little, as is expected with a puppy. Her teeth are still coming in and her chewing will stop when she is done teething, and the digging appears to be more of the playing in the water. She has only dug unplanted, yet over watered area's of my flower garden...just enough to make a mess! She hasn't ever dug up a plant or dug a hole in the middle of the yard.

Missy can also jump anything under 5ft. Missy is getting along great with our Cocker Spaniel, as well as the older Anatolians, all male. Missy is an aggressive player and needs a playmate who can keep up with her. She will do well in an active home with at least one other dog her size and age to play with, preferably male.

Missy enjoys and even seems to crave human attention. She will need a family who can be there for her and lavish her with the love and attention she needs. We are teaching her hand and voice commands and teaching her walk on lead. Missy is very smart, and will need a firm, knowledgeable hand to continue her training so that she can make a wonderful companion to your family.
