Miss Moochie

My name is Miss Moochie and I am about 6 years old. I am a very happy pup! I love to meet new people and with the proper introduction, I do well with most other dogs. Cats are too tempting for me, so it's best if I'm in a home with people and possibly other canines. I am also fine being the only pup. I have been told I have a lovely, funny personality. I do a little tippy-tap dance when I get excited! I am cuddly and love to be involved, but I don't have to have everyone's attention all the time. I am happy to occupy myself with a toy or a bone or to lay on a cushy mat and watch the world go by! I take treats ever so gently and I am also gentle with my toys - I don't shred them but carry them around. I do love a good bone to chew. I love walks and I have great leash manners. I also love car rides and am terrific in the car. I have gone to visit college several times where my foster sisters go and love it because everyone wants to meet me! My foster mom has taught me to respond to clicks and treats and I love this game! I am a very attentive walker. I am a heartworm survivor! I came to my foster home in not-so-great shape. I had been abandoned after a rough life and having had many litters of puppies. I had heartworms and I was starving and anemic. But the Humane Society of York County and my wonderful foster family saved me. After months of their love and support, great nutrition and medical care, I am now in great health, happy and ready to get on with a wonderful life!
