As of 6/9/10, Minnie has applications pending.
Minnie is a female 11 month old German Wirehair/Shorthair Pointer mix who is searching for an active forever home. She's a sporting dog at heart and needs jobs to do in order to keep her busy and happy. An ideal home would have a fenced yard, where she can run happily with her family and soak up the fresh air and sunshine.
She does well with cats, dogs, and kids.
Although she is cautious upon first meeting you, once you have won her heart, she is enchantingly energetic and wants nothing more then to follow you around. She is a great cuddler, too, provided she's gotten her exercise.
Spayed, fully up-to-date on all her shots (including bordetella and rabies), and crate-trained, this youngster would benefit greatly from some obedience/training classes with her new family to strengthen her bond to you.
The requested adoption fee is $250. To begin the adoption process, please submit your completed dog adoption application via email to Amy, our Canine Adoptions Director, at
[email protected].
Please note that all dogs in our care live with our wonderful foster home volunteers until adopted, so an adoption application is needed prior to setting up a meeting. This process has been designed to ensure that we're helping you to find a lifetime companion who will best fit your preferences, as well as a home best suited for their needs.
Orphan Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. is a no-kill, volunteer-run nonprofit organization that is dedicated to changing the lives of homeless pets and helping people in need in Northeast Wisconsin.
We are a small network of foster-care homes and a small Adoption Center in Neenah, WI. Our adoption center is home to our adoptable kitties, since our adoptable dogs live in foster homes until adoption.
We take in abandoned, neglected and abused homeless animals, primarily from other rescues and shelters. We care for these pets until they are adopted, or, if they require lifelong care, we provide them sanctuary.
All donations go directly to the pets: to buy the food, supplies, medications and veterinary treatments for the homeless animals in our care. If you would like to be a part of the difference,
