I'm a 7 month old Black Mouth Cur mix. I'm still learning about this big world, but I'm full of puppy curiosity. I love to play, I could chase my siblings ariund for hours. I'm also quite the cuddle bug. Nothing beats a good snuggle after a day of play. I can be a little shy, but once I get to know you, I'll be your best friend. I'm sweet as can be, and I'm looking for a family who will help me grow into the best dog I can be. I promise to bring you endless joy and unconditional love. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis, MN areas twice a month. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veteinarian ($35). Going that last mile home for our sweet pets!
