Mina was taken in by a good samaritan who encountered someone giving away a box full of puppies on the street. She is in good hands but needs a more active home and family who can provide her with all the important puppy stuff like play, exercise, training, playmates, and endless cuddles. Mina is four months old and about 26 pounds, so is likely to be 45-50 lbs as an adult. She has a beautiful sleek black short coat, fun ears that can’t decide whether to stand or flop, and a sweet expressive face. She is active and loves to play, but is also a fan of naps—does great in her crate and sleeps through the night. Housetraining is going well and her wonderful foster mom has already invested time and money into rewards-based training for Mina, so she will go to her new family with some manners and safety behaviors that just need to be continued and practiced. She loves playing with other dogs, seems to enjoy children, but not sure yet about cats. Mina’s “perfect” home would be a family with older kids still in the home who will enjoy playing, walking, and cuddling with her, with at least someone in the home who isn’t gone all day. Fenced yard and another playful dog would be great! Medium-high activity level—so folks who like walking, hiking, playing, and including their dog in the fun.
