Mimi

This little, sassy 3-year-old girl is on the hunt for her forever home. She is around 27 lbs and believed to be a rat terrier mix (best guess). She is now spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. She came to the rescue with 5 puppies who have all found wonderful homes. Now it's her turn! Mimi loves every dog she meets and is working on coexisting with cats. She currently will chase a cat and gently head-butt them but has never hurt them. She is house and crate trained, but she does need frequent potty breaks or access to a doggy door when loose in a house. Her ideal home would have one or more friendly dogs who love to be loved by dogs and a patient human. Mimi came to us very scared and shut down and it has taken some time for her to learn that humans are okay and come out of her shell. She is very food and squeaky toy (Deedle Dudes are her favorites) motivated. She warms up very quickly to women and will warm to men with a little time. She can be nervous around anyone who approaches quickly, so children over 10 would be best. The girl has come a long way and is doing great in her foster home with both her foster mom and dad and she loves all the other dogs. She is ready for a "furever" home of her own and deserves to be loved and spoiled. She's a sweet girl and you would be lucky to have her in your life.
