My mom had a stroke and is no longer able to care for me so I am looking to spend the rest of my days with a new family to call my own. I am extremely lovable and still playful at my age. At first I was very confused being away from my family so it took me a little while to adjust to a new foster home. Once i have time to adjust, I am all yours. I get along well with my foster siblings as well as any other dogs. I have even been to doggy day care some days and really enjoyed myself. All I need is some TLC and to feel wanted and loved. I love to cuddle up and sleep under the covers by my foster mom's feet.I am still adjusting to my new home after so many years of being with the same person so potty training is going a lot better now. When I first arrived, I felt I had to put my mark anywhere I could. My foster mom puts diapers on me sometimes during the day to avoid me lifting my leg and it seems to be working out very well. I am getting the message.I am a good eater and a great sleeper and the best cuddler you could ever ask for. Nor do we work on a 'first come first served' basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog. As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region.
