MILO

Milo is the total package! He's handsome, smart and athletic - what else could you want in your best friend? He's about 1 year old, and about 42 pounds, so he's a nice medium size. He knows his basic commands and listens very well, especially if you have treats. He LOVES treats. His coat is an amazing fawn with subtle merle coloring - it's very unique. Milo was surrendered because his original family worked long hours and he was in a crate all day. Being a young energetic dog, this wasn't fair to him. He then had a foster home for a bit, but the resident dog decided she didn't want Milo around, so he is back in boarding again. He probably doesn't understand why he's back there since he is such a good boy. Aside from some regular exercise, Milo would love a home where he could work on puzzles and do other things to stimulate his brain. He is so smart - one of the volunteers noticed he was even trying to open a door all on his own! He is friendly with other dogs, so can have some dog siblings too.
