My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Milo is a super friendly and loving guy who adores being loved and playing. He's the sweetest, funniest dog you'll meet. He was initially an only dog, but he has adjusted well to having playmates and would thrive either as a solo pet or with other dogs. Milo loves to run around the backyard with his two foster siblings, playing and doing their business. After a good romp, they come back in for water and food before heading out again for more play. Inside, they continue their playful antics until it's time for a nap. He's a healthy pup who just needed a bit more weight when he first arrived. He has been gaining weight nicely! Milo gets incredibly excited every time he sees you, even if you just stepped out to check the mailbox. His whole body wiggles with joy. If you are looking for a dog that makes you feel loved and will welcome you home with so much excitement, Milo may be the dog for you! Milo does bark a little when left alone but usually settles down if there's another dog with him. He would do best with another playful dog or an active lifestyle to keep him engaged and happy. Milios is from Texas. One big thing you should know is he is heartworm positive - but please don't let that scare you away from adopting him! He has completed his treatment and heartworm is not a contagious disease. When they are undergoing treatment, they should be on activity 'restrictions' which just means they should relax in their crate or cuddle with you. Click here to learn more about heartworm disease, which is transmitted by mosquitoes. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
