My Story

Mika is a 2-year-old greyhound that was rescued from an abusive situation. Despite the things she has been through, it has not affected her desire to be adopted into a loving home. She is a silly girl and you can often see her chasing her tail, or putting her nose through her gate to give out kisses. The Valley Animal Center is open for adoption 7 days a week 10:00am – 4:30pm. Every potential adopter is required to submit an Adoption Application to be considered for adoption. Once the application is approved, there is a $85.00 adoption fee for cats and an adoption fee for dogs $175.00. No cat will be allowed to leave the shelter unless they are in an approved pet carrier and no dog will be allowed to leave unless on a leash.
