My Story

Midori is a 9 week old Akita mix puppy. At full size he will weigh almost 100 pounds. He is looking for a home that is ready to put as much into owning him as they need. Shelter from the Storm knows what a large responsibility owning a dog can be and how much a dog 100 pounds or more can be. Everything cost more with a large breed dog. For this reason Cho and her bothers and sisters have an adoption fee of $300.

Because of their breed Shelter from the storm is requiring a basic training class after their puppy class. We are requiring a $75 deposit that will be sent back to you when you complete that class. We will still send you the $50 refund when you complete the first puppy class as well.

Please do your research on the breed. Akita's are not for everyone and require work and commitment. Please follow this link for some basic information about Akita's
