Midnight is a stunning retriever/setter mix, about three years old. He was surrendered to the shelter because his family was moving and couldn't take him along. Despite being stuck in a cage for the past three weeks, he is a very happy-go-lucky dog; his fluffy tail is always wagging and he always has a great "smile" on his face.
Midnight is very active and would love a home where he will get lots of exercise. Although he is very energetic, he still enjoys laying next to his foster mom with his head on her lap. He adores being petted and is gentle and affectionate. He is fine with the other dogs in his foster home, but he tends to ignore them in favor of human company. He is also OK with cats (but he is part retriever, so likes to chase them). His foster mom is patiently helping him learn to walk nicely on a leash, but he gets so excited when he is outside that this is still a "work in progress".
Midnight is up to date on all his shots, neutered, and housebroken. He would be fine with older kids, but his youthful exuberance might be too much for younger children.
