Name: Mickey
Fostered in: Dallas, TX
no more applications are being accepted for Mickey. We are going through applications and will let everyone know the outcome.
Age/weight: 4 mos and 23 pounds
About me: Mickey was rescued, along with his brother from a city shelter having been found dumped on the side of the road. Although we are not sure of his breed, he is probably either a Labradoodle or a Portuguese Water Dog. He sports a thick black, ultra soft, non-shedding coat. Cute doesn't do him justice
He is approx 16 weeks, totally adorable and all puppy. He loves all people, loves all dogs. loves toys, treats and to eat. In fact he just loves being alive and everyday is an adventure. He will need to go to a home where the adopter knows what it takes to care for a young puppy and has the time and patience to train him. Older children would be preferable due to his puppy nipping and jumping. He would do well with another dog in the home.
He will need a physical fence and someone home quite often to take care of him. Taking care of puppies should not be taken lightly.
We expect Mickey to be a large dog probably reaching at least 50+ lbs fully grown. He will be neutered before going to his forever home.
You should be within a reasonable distance of Dallas, TX to adopt this dog.

[email protected] ** IDOG RRR does not adopt dogs to homes where dogs are kept outside.
You must be prepared for your dog to be an inside member of the family.
We're all volunteers and our available time to answer emails is very limited so please fill out the general application first and you will get a prompt response. Completing our application does not obligate you at all and we will keep it on file to match against dogs that become available. Some dogs are adopted from our applications without ever being listed so it's well worth your 5 - 10 minutes of time!
IDOG prefers for you to have a physical fence. Invisible fences will be taken on a case by case basis, and if we say a dog needs a physical fence, we say this for a reason. .
