Hi! I'm Mickey, the best temperamented dog you'll ever meet! I'm an older guy, sure, but for a Golden/Setter mix that's 10+ years old, you couldn't ask for a better dog! I'm a healthy boy, despite coming to Young at Heart as nothing but skin and bones. I was so malnourished that I drank as much as I could to fill up my tummy, but now I'm learning to slow down and enjoy my 3-4 square meals a day (the doc says I need to gain some weight, so for once, I'm allowed to eat this much!). I love people, other dogs, am ok with cats and enjoy kids. I am housebroken, good in the car, super gentle on a leash, and am just a spectacular guy. I need to put on some pounds, and then I can get a much needed dental, and I'll be ready to go home! Will you be the one who loves me bunches and bunches?
