My Story

ADOPTED

Liz is 5 mos old in May & already conveys the distinct impression of elegance and unsurpassed beauty combined with great overall size and majesty. At 40 lbs, she has a white or principally white coat that contains markings of tan. Liz possesses a keen intelligence and a kindly, while regal, expression. True to her heritage, Liz is gentle and affectionate; her general demeanor is one of quiet composure, both patient and tolerant. She will be a great pal to kids, other dogs & even cats.

She will need some confidence building exercises, being somewhat shy (born in a rural shelter with limited socialization) & reserved. But she is very loyal & attentive once she bonds to you, all of which are typical characteristics of her breed.

Liz will be an extra large dog at adulthood, easily weighing 85 to 100 lbs. She will probably mature at about 2 years old. Her fur is a thick, weather resistant double coat consisting of a long, flat, thick, outer coat of coarse hair, and lying over a dense, fine, woolly undercoat. This will require vigorous grooming maintenance. Drooling is very common in the breed, too.

Liz is crate trained & 98% housebroken. Please consider Liz as your lifelong companion, you wont regret it. See her littermates in our Happy Tails link under BRADY BUNCH.

UPDATE: LIZ IS A TV STAR! She will be in the soccer competition on Animal Planet's Puppy Games. The three hour show will be shown during the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Olympics (8/8/08) on Animal Planet!
