Mesquite

When most people think of Mesquite, they probably think of a tree they’d rather not have around. They’re not known for their beauty, plus they’re covered in thorns. I, on the other hand, am known for my beauty and you won’t find a single thorn on me! What you will find is a velvety soft coat topped off by the biggest, cutest pair of ears you’ve ever seen. People tell me I’m goofy and playful. (Flops onto her back for a belly rub at this point?) One of my favorite ways to unwind after a busy day, other than play with my toys, and ride in the car, is to snuggle up and watch movies with you. And I won’t ever hog the remote, I promise! Now, before you go thinking I sound absolutely perfect, first let me remind you that perfection is in the eye of the beholder. So I’m looking for a beholder who can look past my one flaw. I don’t really like other dogs or cats. There. I said it. It’s not easy to admit, but that’s the first step to recovery! And they’re actually working with me on that to see if they can change my mind. But in the meantime, I just know there has got to be someone out there who wants me to be their one and only!
