Memphis

Appearance: Brindle Gender: Male Estimated Age: 1yr Estimated Weight: 36lbs Health: No obvious issues. He has small thick ears and may have had previous ear issues that have since healed. Bio: Memphis is a nice compact sized dog. This submissive guy needs a little reassurance that everything is going to be okay. The shelter environment has been scary for him. He doesn't understand why all the other dogs are loud and constantly barking. This guy is looking for no trouble. He freezes in place and wags his tail, but he doesn't know if it's okay to move around or not. While he is unsure of himself, he likes human attention, and even showed us a few smiles. Other Dogs: He was non-reactive with our tester. Again, he just froze in place and wagged his tail. Video available by request. Cats: Non-reactive. We recommend using caution until he shows that he can be trusted. Children: We do not have kids to test with. We always recommend supervising children around dogs/puppies at all times. Sometimes our dogs/puppies are pretty active and might be too big for really small children and sometimes the children can be too rough around them. Leash: No experience yet. Apply at rosierescue.org
