When some tenants got evicted from their house, Melvin, now Louis, and his brother Luca were left behind. The landlord called Central City Animal Hospital, who then called us. The Roots family had been waiting to adopt a Mastiff mix pup, so we contacted them when these boys came into our care. Sure enough, they met him and were completely smitten. After a bout with the flu, Louis is now back home with his new family, and getting spoiled. We can't wait to see photos of him all grown up!
Melvin and his brother Luca were left chained up in a yard, when their owners took off. The landlord called our vet, and the vet called us. They are VERY big puppies, and are Mastiff mixes of some sort.
Luca has a home, but Melvin is in need of a family. He is just 3 months old, tan with a black mask and some white markings. He already weighs 30 lbs. and is one SOLID pup. He will be an moderately active extra-large breed adult dog. He is very social, and wiggly. We would like Melvin to find a large-breed experienced home that plans to socialize the heck out of him! Attending training is a must!
