MELINA- Needs a foster/forever home!

Sweet Melina is a 2 year old Terrier and Blue Lacy mix. Can you imagine living in a cold, roofless garage with dirty straw, no food or water and a chain only 4 feet long in the bitter winter? ?? We can't either but that was Melina's life before rescue! Melina joined MADR in February. She was emaciated and scared. Since being in her temporary foster home, Melina has gained confidence and proper weight! Melina is a very active girl!! She loves to give hugs and kisses!! Melina has been spayed, up to date on shots, house and crate trained! Melina is also dog social after proper introduction. NO CATS!!! Children 7 yrs old or older. Her forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. Melina cannot wait until she finds her forever family who will love and spoil for the rest of her life!! All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs.
