My Story

This sweet senior girl is a courtesy posting for a rescue angel Located in Alabama. MORE details to follow: She is an older over weight poorly bred Pem or Pem mix from the Animal Shelter in Cullman, Alabama. She didn't have a snowball chance in being adopted with horrible shelter overcrowding today with the state of the economy, strays found and owners dumping 'their companions' in droves. More details to follow...She will be fully vetted prior to placement. Please contact Kathi Immer for more details. [email protected] UPDATE 6/20: Meg, my foster, is doing well. She is a sweet girl. Completely house trained and trustworthy to be left in the house unattended. She has lost four pounds already. She loves to walk and is getting more energy as she loses weight. She is also looking more like a Corgi as she loses weight. She does great with the male dogs and Izzy, but BOSSY with foster moms female corgi.. She has learned the sit command and knows the meaning of "no". I changed her name from Maggie to Meg as Maggie was the name of my first Pem that I lost at 2 years of age to autoimmune hemolytic anemia. The name just brought back too many memories. Meg loves people and is a busy little girl. She loves attention and would do well with almost any family. Probably older kids would be best.
