Maycee Mae

Maycee Mae is a very pretty 1 yr old St. Bernard that is here at the shelter because the family felt she was to energetic for their lifestyle. Maycee is potty trained, has been around children, cats and other dogs. Even though Maycee is a big dog, she loves to go running and loves to play with stuffed animals. Maycee loves to be brushed and gets attention from her people friends. Maycee is a great girl that would love to have a new energetic family to hang out with. The staff would like it if the potential adopters would research this breed before committing to adding Maycee to their family. The St. Bernard breed is very large, and like many large breeds, she has hip displaysia . As well, Maycee currently has an eye condition called Ectropion (a condition of the eye lid) that will need to be operated on before she can go home. Because of MCHS' limited funds, this surgery will have to be paid for by her new family. Please call the shelter for additional information. But don't wait! Maycee will be adopted fast so don't miss out! She deserves a good home! Adoption rate is $115 however $60 will be paid for by the humane society to go toward her vet care for her eye surgery to help her potential new adopter with that cost.
