UPDATE 6/4- Maybel has been through basic obedience training and knows many commands now. She is also housebroken and LOVES the pool.

Maybel is a beautiful 18 month old 90lb Coonhound girl who was surrendered to our rescue after a lot of persistence on our part for the owner to hand her over to us. She had been left out in the 100+ heat with no shade, no water, or food on a very short chain for several days, and after going to check on her several times, we were able to speak with the owner about giving her up. He finally gave in and handed her over. Despite all that, she has the most wonderful personality a dog could have! She's sweet, good with other dogs, playful and just a love. She would be great for a home with another dog or just someone who loves those hounds! Maybel is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped and comes with a free month of pet insurance. Adoption fee $325.

Please fill out an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. The rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
