My Story

Not a hairless, but a coated Xolo! Maya is a small 1-1/2 year old Xolo mix female that was rescued in Mexico by our "Southern" branch of the CCSPCA. Ambos Rescue helps homeless dogs in Mexico 6 months out of the year and this is one of their latest saves. Most dogs they rescue get vaccinated, spayed and neutered, then adopted locally. But when Maya was rescued she was nearly starved to death and it took a few months for her to fill out again. Now the rescue volunteers are finished up with their tour and brought Maya home with them to adopt locally.
Maya is extremely friendly and loves to be petted. She is very grateful to be alive, and shows her gratitude with loyalty and lots of kisses. She is what is considered a Coated Xolo, she has a beautiful coat of soft fur.
I got adopted! Yipee!
