We rescued this big boy from a high kill shelter. Maximus, a mix of American Bulldog/Mastiff, is about 5 yrs old. He is as sweet as he is big - so that says a lot.... Max's calm and gentle demeanor has made him a big favorite among the volunteers here at ROAR. Having his belly rubbed in the warm sun is his idea of heaven.
Max is fine with some dogs but is NOT good with cats. He is pretty indifferent about kids of all ages. We would like to see Maximus in a "big dog home" - with a fenced in yard or a large dog pen for him. He would love to follow you to work in your truck - he may steal your lunch... but hey, love is sharing.... right....
